Graphic Designers

• helps design issue spreads, creates promotional and other content to be shared on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

• works with social media managers, photographers, Editor-in-Chief, and other graphic designers to keep the overall aesthetic consistent

 

Photographers

• take and edit photos to be used in issues, on the website, and for social media purposes​

  • We are looking for both local and remote photographers for work on different projects

    • Local photographers will help with special projects/events and work on photo shoots with a local team in collaboration with other brands, creatives, influencers, etc. (Local photographers should live near the Cincinnati/Dayton, OH area or be able to travel for projects + events.

 

Social Media Managers

• respond to DMs and other messages/comments

• post on the TUGZ social media accounts​ (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)

• come up with post ideas and communicate them to editing and graphic design teams

• develop some form of post schedule for each account (Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook)

• Implement strategies to further grow our audience and promote interaction

 

Politics + Social Issues Writer

• write content involving various political topics worldwide

  • includes writing forms such news based pieces, OP-eds, and interviews

• have your works published on the TUGZ Magazine Website, Social Medias, and issues

• must stay well informed on relevant topics and be able to convey news and opinions in a clear and decisive manner

• we are looking for writers with a unique and personal perspective able to portray this through their writing and relate with their own content in some way while maintaining an educated and journalistic voice​

 

Fashion + Beauty Writer

• write content involving various fashion, style, and beauty trends

• pieces come in several forms including trend analyses, collection reviews, interviews, and more

• have your works published on the TUGZ Magazine Website, Social Medias, and issues

• must stay well informed on relevant topics and be able to convey opinions and other information clearly and in an engaging way

• we are looking for writers with a well versed personal style in which they are able to appreciate and critique various styles in an objective and unbiased way while still allowing their opinion and personality to show​

 

Pop Culture Writers

• write content involving various pop culture trends, events, releases, and people

  • includes major event coverage, interviews, media reviews, etc.

• have your works published on the TUGZ Magazine Website, Social Medias, and issues

• must stay well informed on relevant topics and be able to convey information and opinions in a clear and engaging manner

• we are looking for writers with a unique and personal perspective able to portray this through their writing along with their personality while maintaining a fun and entertaining yet mature voice​

• Pop Culture encompasses music, film, TV, art, social media, and all other entertainment

 

Creative Writers

• write content such as short stories, poetry, personal essays, and other creative forms of writing

• have your works published on the TUGZ Magazine Website, Social Medias, and issues

• must have a unique and engaging writing style able to keep the reader entertained/interested while sending a clear message when necessary

• we are looking for writers with experience in various forms of creative writing able to create pieces with different  theme, genre, mood, and tone

• creativity is very important to us!​

Content Creators

• create engaging and inspiring content for our social media pages

  • content like: creative inspo dumps, niche playlists, event volgs, a day in the life videos, story takeovers, pop culture/news reports, outfit reviews, TV/movie reactions, true crime storytimes, album reviews, and more for our community​

• must be outgoing and comfortable in front of the camera as well as willing to dedicate time to making well planned and developed content (this could include attending local events)

• content creators should be willing to spend time reviewing trends and other content to gain ideas and inspiration as you will be somewhat responsible for developing your own ideas

Local Creative Team Members

• Must be local to the Cincinnati/Dayton, OH area or be able to travel for projects + events

• We are looking for the following:

  • Photographers

  • Models

  • Hair/Makeup Artists

  • Production Assistants

  • Stylists

  • Event Planners

• Team members will work on collaborative projects throughout the year on behalf of TUGZ including but not limited to:

  • Photoshoots

  • Brand/Influencer Collabs

  • Event attendance
