Plaid Handmade Dress - Learned to sew by my grandmother and mother. An art passed down by generations of women. They learned to make their own patterns, sometimes sewing each stitch by hand because they had no sewing machine. Some clothing was even made out of potato sacks. I am Black and it is my black experience, family handing down talents and skills.
